Lab: Stoichiometry of a Precipitation Reaction
This lab has been designed so that students do not need to know how to calculate the number of moles of calcium chloride. A volume of 50 mL of M solution of CaCl2 provides the stoichiometric amount for reacting a full g of sodium carbonate. The procedure tells students to use 60 mL.
